Handmade at Home Skin Care Line
My goal is to make small-batch homemade products from ingredients that you recognize; I just want to keep things simple in a complicated world.
All scents come from custom essential oil blends and small batches make it interesting. Although each scent line has the same oils, measuring is done by nose. Don't want the frills of added scents? That's ok too. You can get your order without added essential oils. Also, I don't use dyes, so everything comes in "natural".
Sugar Scrub - Made specifically for scrubbing that old skin away and nourish your skin with coconut & almond oils. Instructions: Scoop out a small amount of scrub into your hands and rub vigorously until all oils have melted (or longer if desired). Then, rinse with warm water to remove the sugar from your hands. Do not use soap. Rub in the remaining oil & enjoy your softer hands.
Whipped Body Butter - Have dry skin? Or worse...dry, cracked skin that hurts? This is about the most moisturizing blend of butters and oils that you can get, mixed with arrowroot powder to prevent your skin from feeling oily after application. And because it isn't diluted with water like most handmade lotions tend to be, a little bit goes a long way. (Psst... This is great for psoriasis patches. -Spoken from experience)
Bee's Wax Lip Balm - Including the nearly same ingredients as the body butter, it works great for one of the most sensitive areas on your body. The only exception is that it has Bee's Wax to seal in that added moisture. (Only available in Vanilla, Vanilla & Lavender, and Citrus Dream)
Coconut Oil Bath Bomb - Sometimes you just have to soak.... and this bath bomb recipe is tweaked just the right way to make my favorite bath bomb ever. I have rather dry and sensitive skin due to psoriasis so it was rather hard to find a nice bath bomb that wouldn't irritate my dry skin...enter coconut oil, the most wonderful moisturizer in the world (in my opinion). Just like everything that I make, it all started with a need and some research and experimentation. I like coconut oil, I started with recipes that included it. And then I added a few extra things that I liked until I came up with a mad scientist version of a bath bomb that has ingredients that not only function, but also benefit.
P.S. Yes that is a bar of soap in that basket. I'm still working on the recipe for the soap.... coming soon.
