As long as it's safe to share, we'll gladly help people find it a new home. The RRFM takes place every fourth Saturday of the Month from 1pm to 4pm.
Personal Hygiene Pantry: offers confidence and hygiene to people that might otherwise have a hard time purchasing these products thought the month. Not Your Mom's Home Economics Class: offers individuals an opportunity to learn home skills like cooking, sewing, home repairs, gardening, and basic vehicle repairs. This class schedule is every other week on Sundays.
Craft Collaborative: a time of creativity and learning. Our goal is for people to bring what they are working on, share their skills, and to have a make-and-take craft on-hand. There will also be colouring pages for kids. This is an all-skill-levels event to encourage people to come together to share the things that make them feel creative and to build our community through art.
Relaxation: Finding Physical and Mental Balance: designed to promote mental and bodily relaxation through movement with a mixture of stretching, yoga, conscious relaxation, smooth movements, and meditation. The goal is to get you gently moving and guide you to a less stressed and more self-aware state .
Learn, Grow, & Thrive: geared toward gathering people to work together toward a community garden. People learn how to grow their own food and basic prep of garden area. We also do some basic landscaping, yard work, and building care during these sessions. Participants are allowed to take fresh fruits and veggies home during harvest times.
